Arvest Bank Announces Duhamel-Barger Hire

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce it has hired Tiffany Duhamel-Barger as vice president and an Arvest Private Banking advisor. 

Duhamel-Barger, who has more than 13 years of industry experience, will be based out of the Arvest branch located at 4400 W. Markham. In her new role, Duhamel-Barger will provide clients with concierge service to assist with their financial needs ranging from deposit accounts to consumer and mortgage lending. 

“We are delighted to add someone with Tiffany’s experience and expertise to our team,” said Brice Sisco, Arvest Private Banking manager. “I am confident she will be an asset not just to the bank, but more importantly, to our customers.” 

Duhamel-Barger earned a bachelor’s degree in finance at the University of Central Arkansas. She is an active member of BNI – Profit Makers, Central Arkansas Young Professionals Network, and New Life Church of Greater Little Rock, among other civic endeavors. 

Barger and her husband, Brandon, have one daughter.

Arvest Bank Names Tim Hampel to Saline County Advisory Board

Arvest Bank announced that Tim Hampel of Benton will join the bank’s Saline County Advisory Board. Hampel is president and CEO of Supreme Fixture Co., Inc., N&S Mechanical, Supreme Custom Fabricators, Supreme Retail and Southwest Millwork.  

Hampel’s community involvement includes work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of central Arkansas. He also is director of a Christian youth camp that serves more than 100 teenagers in Lithuania. Hampel and his wife, Shelly, have two adult children and are members of North Side Church of Christ in Benton. 

“Tim has invested in the improvement of communities across Saline County for more than 30 years and it is that personal commitment and professional experience we value when seeking new board members,” said Phillip Partain, community bank president for Arvest Bank in Saline County. “This board is important to Arvest because these leaders help us ensure we are making the best decisions and pursuing the right opportunities for our customers and for the success of these communities.” 

Arvest’s Saline County Advisory Board was created in 2017 to help broaden and enhance the bank’s support of the community.  

Board members advise, support and serve as liaisons for the bank through relationships with local businesses and the community and serve a five-year term.

Hill, president of Hilbilt Sells Corp. and HilArk Industries of Benton; Lamont Cornwell, Jr., executive director of the Saline County Economic Development Corporation; Mark Middleton, president of CommerceCorp International, managing partner of MidCorp Investments and principal of Middleton, Inc.; Don Rhoads, president of Fleming Electric in Bryant and Michael Stewart, chief executive officer for Saline Health System in Benton.

Arvest Bank will celebrate the career of Jim Cross on March 29.

Cross, a senior client advisor for Arvest Wealth Management in Bentonville, has worked at Arvest for 30 years.

Jim Cross has had an incredible career at Arvest, and for many, it will be hard to think about Arvest Bank in Bentonville without Jim as an advisor there,” Arvest Wealth Management president and CEO Jim King said. “Jim has seen Arvest grow and change through his many years of service, and has contributed to that growth in so many ways.

“But most importantly, for more than 30 years, Jim has helped so many customers achieve their financial goals with his personal passion and diligence. Jim has meant so much to Arvest, and we wish him all the best in his retirement.”

A reception to honor Cross will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, March 29, at the Bentonville Conference Center.

Arvest Bank Hires Parry as Mortgage Lender

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce that Shawna Parry has joined the bank as a mortgage lender. Parry will work out of the Arvest Bank branch in Ashdown and will also serve customers in Nashville and Dierks with their mortgage lending needs.

Parry started her career in banking in 2015. She has experience in retail banking and mortgage lending.

“Shawna is a great asset and will provide a high level of expertise and support to our customers in southwest Arkansas,” said Eric Cullum, mortgage loan manager for Arvest Bank in northeast, central and southwest Arkansas. “We are glad to be able to provide an on-site mortgage lender to our customers in this area and we believe they will notice the advantages of having this resource.”

Parry received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia.

Arvest Hosts Retirement Reception for Bettenhausen; Morris Joins Team in Mountain Home

Arvest announced today the retirement of Arvest Wealth Management senior client advisor David Bettenhausen. Bettenhausen assisted clients in Mountain Home with investment, retirement and insurance planning. He retires after 35 years in the real estate and financial services industries.

Arvest Bank will host a community retirement reception for Bettenhausen Friday, March 29, from 1-3 p.m. at the Arvest Bank location at 2619 Hwy 62 East in Mountain Home. The public is invited to attend.

“David has been a respected and valued asset for our customers, our community and our associates in Mountain Home,” said Mike Willard, president and CEO of Arvest in North Central Arkansas. “We understand his desire to spend more time with family and he leaves us with our very best wishes. David’s clients will see no interruption of management to their accounts, as Arvest already has welcomed a successor to this role.”

Arvest has named Clint Morris as client advisor for Arvest Wealth Management in Mountain Home. Morris will be located in the Arvest branch on Hwy 62 East. He has worked for Arvest Wealth Management for three years and has eight years of experience as a financial services advisor. Morris earned a bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University and holds his FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
